I have lost and gained weight multiple times over the last three decades. As a result of that, my metabolism was a mess. In the last few years, I found it increasingly difficult to lose weight and I was watching the number on the scale creeping back up. A friend recommended Becki because her sister had been successful working with Becki. After three years of what I have called my “health journey”, I was frustrated with gaining and losing and regaining the same, and more, weight. Embarrassed at having “failed” once again, having regained the 25 pounds I had worked so hard to lose, I reached out to Becki in April of this year. High blood pressure, sore joints, and difficulty with the slightest workouts – I was ready, finally ready, to make a change. I have experimented with everything from Keto to appetite suppressant drops and pills, to Weight Watchers, etc. -I had a pretty broad understanding of diet, macros, and food logs. I just needed a program that would work for me. Through Becki and her guidance, and my own hard work and diligence – I am finally there. Down 44 pounds from my high in 2020, the yo yoing has stopped, my blood pressure is normal and I can run circles around most people my age. I am the strongest and lightest I have been since my early 30’s. Becki’s program has reset my post-menopausal metabolism, allows me the freedom to make food choices every day (as long as they fit in my macros), and has reintroduced me to food groups I have largely avoided the past three years – hello carbohydrates! I want to be honest with my testimonial – it’s not easy and can be tedious and boring – you have to weigh and log food in an app, I largely abstain from alcohol, I intermittent fast most days (18/6), you have to commit to “eating to live instead of living to eat.” My social life is different, my focus each day is on my diet and exercise and I have learned to pay myself first. The joy I feel in being in clothes that are two sizes down, being physically active each day and having energy left over, and mostly the cardiac benefits I have seen in my blood work and my blood pressure make it all worth it. I plan on being here a long time and with that time I want to enjoy my family, future grandkids and my friends. I know my frustration and bad habits would have continued had I not read similar testimonials from some Facebook friends, that finally made me make the call. I had both knees replaced last November/December and was at the highest weight I’ve been. While I’m healthy and strong from working out regularly, I just hadn’t been good about my nutrition. I was hesitant at first to try Impact Macro Coaching with Becki and didn’t start the program when a couple friends did. I wasn’t sure I wanted to “diet” and have to be restricted. I finally decided to give it a try and I’m now down 36 lbs and so glad I did!!! I love that nothing is restricted, just have to fit it into my numbers for the day and like that it changes every week so I’m not always on the same calories/macros. Also love that there is support and sharing of food discoveries, recipes and encouragement from others who are doing the program.

I started with Becki back in September 2022. I had seen her posts for a year and I finally decided I needed to make a change. I was over 200 pounds and unhappy. I’m now at my target weight of 160 pounds. I follow the plan and it does work. I don’t feel like I’m making sacrifices as I still eat food that I enjoy, but I now have accountability. I also make much smarter food choices. I feel better than I have in years!!! It hasn’t always been easy and it takes quite a bit of planning with my schedule but it’s so worth it. It’s like she says, “you can do this”!!
I started this diet because I had a few pounds I wanted to lose. I was in good physical shape, running 4 days/week but still wasn’t happy with how I looked. I thought my diet was ok and I thought I ate good but something had to change and I had been watching Becki’s personal progress with the macro diet on social media. I reached out to Becki and so glad I did!! In just over 3 months I lost 18 pounds (pounds I didn’t think I had to lose!!). She helped me reshape my diet and what I fuel my body with. There is a learning curve and in the beginning it was tough changing my thinking about food, but when I started recording everything I put in my mouth, I realized where all the extra fat and calories were coming from and how little protein I was actually consuming!! Once I fell into a routine and really focused on protein, carbs, and fats, my body started to transform. I actually enjoyed getting on the scale! The great thing is this isn’t a diet that restricts you, it allows you to have things you want, you just have to plan your numbers around them! My only complaint is I had to buy belts for my pants!!
I started this journey in August. I’m a full time working mom of two littles. I was at my “enough is enough” point after I saw a picture of myself on vacation. I had been exercising at a gym doing group classes 4-6 days a week. Since I was doing that, I justified the crap I was eating because it all cancels out, right? No, so wrong. When I finally got the nerve and told myself “I’m doing this” I reached out to Becki. Becki told me right away, the process is long, a marathon not a sprint. The first few weeks of planning and plugging food in was a task. Thankfully I powered through and it’s just a habit now. I have been pretty strict on myself through these 4 months. I hit my numbers every day. I’ve had a bad weekend and indulged some here and there but my mind was made up that I was doing this so I’ve been sticking to it. My mind is blown at how successful I’ve been. Down nearly 30 pounds and still going. Not only have I benefited but so has my family. I feel happier and more confident, a better mom and wife. We eat at home more and my kids are even enjoying the healthier choices and I love that. Becki is a great support. I love that the program is tailored to me and my goals. So all of that said, I really recommend giving it a shot. If you’re looking at yourself and thinking “I wish I could do that!” Know that you can! The mental game is real and can be challenging but if you can power through, use the support system around you (including Becki and other group members), and hold yourself accountable, you can do it! My only regret is that I didn’t start sooner!
When my friends and I sat down with Becki to learn about this program, they were all in, but I was hesitant. I just wasn’t ready to commit, thinking I would have to give up a lot and be too strict. I’m so glad I changed my mind and decided to give it a try a week later! Even though I’ve had some challenging times planning and preparing – a few road trips, taking a girls trip and going to social events – I still found it possible to stay on track. I’ve been consistent with working out for several years now, but just haven’t been able to do the same with nutrition. Through working with Becki in this program I’ve finally been able to do that and am down 20 lbs so far and feel so good! I’m so thankful I decided to give it a try!
I am so happy with these results. It is manageable and I can eat whatever I want if it fits. Learning to eat for the rest of my life!!
I’ve been an athlete my entire life, which means I’ve always been active and never really had to worry about my weight. Even after college I remained active playing in recreational volleyball and softball leagues several times a week. Then I got married, became a mother, and life took over. Slowly I gained a few pounds each year and as I aged, it was harder and harder to lose the weight. About 6 years ago I started strength training at SNAP Fitness and eventually learned more about macros and how to fuel my body for my workouts. I never really made the commitment to stick with program past the 6 week cycle of classes and nutrition tracking, so naturally my weight fluctuated by 10-15 pounds throughout the year. Like many people, I had my ‘fat clothes’ and my ‘skinny clothes’. But my ‘skinny clothes’ weren’t really skinny, they were really just ‘less fat clothes’ that I tricked myself into believing were ‘good enough’. Through all of this up and down, I never really felt good about my appearance and therefore, never really felt good about myself. Funny how the two are unfortunately related. Last summer I finally committed to tracking my macros and doing the carb cycling and intermittent fasting that everyone was talking about. It worked for me for a few months and I lost about 18 pounds, but then I hit a plateau and couldn’t lose any more weight. It was frustrating when I’d meal plan on Sunday, shop and prep for the week then my workouts would get rearranged. I’d have to move the meals around based on whether or not I was working out that day. It became overwhelming and frustrating when I stopped seeing results.
Then along came Becki. Becki is tall and an athlete like me and I started seeing some noticeable changes in her body at the gym. I was skeptical at first because I was tired of tracking my food and putting in the effort to meal plan, but I wanted results. Once Becki explained that my body was compensating for me not eating when it needed fuel and that it got used to my cycles and therefore was ‘protecting’ itself by retaining the weight, her plan made sense. Once I started seeing the scale move again, I was hooked! But more than that, my clothes were fitting better and I was feeling good about myself. I’ll admit, it hasn’t been easy and there were days and weeks when the scale would go up a little then back down. But if I look at the big picture of my chart, there are patterns and it has consistently gone down for me since I started almost 6 months ago. I’ve lost over 20 pounds with my macro coach and I have gotten rid of several bags of clothes and am now wearing pants that I bought 4 years ago, hoping to one day wear them. I can confidently walk into my closet and pick out any outfit and I know it will fit me and I will look good in it. But more than the clothes, it’s the way I see myself. I am more confident and use food to fuel my body now and not comfort myself. I can easily say ‘no’ to something if I’m not hungry, but I don’t deny myself the privilege of a treat when I want one. I just figure those macros into my day and work around them. I’ve learned to read labels better and make better choices while eating out, but also being able to attend a party or gathering at someone else’s house without feeling like I have to deprive myself. I still have a little way to go to get to my ‘goal weight range’, but I’m confident that with Becki’s help and guidance, it won’t be long before I’m there!
I’m almost 2 months in and feeling great! … I can’t speak enough about how great this program is with Becki. I will not lie to you and say it’s easy because it’s not! … But aren’t you worth it? Time to start putting yourself first!!
